THE PROCESS OF CREATING GRAPHIC DESIGN
The most important part of creating an advertising campaign,
corporate identity, brochure, or other design project for
our clients is simply meeting with them and discussing their
wants and needs. Nothing is more important than understanding
the client’s basic requirements, but we also strive
to get a more personal feel for who the client is and what
he or she is trying to achieve.
Accordingly, the first step in the process is scheduling
meetings with our clients to find out about the work they
would like us to do. We gather their ideas and suggestions
for their projects, offer some of our own, and roughly outline
the costs and timelines for print production.
Back at the office, we draft a proposal for the project,
including any and all costs related to printing the finished
job. The proposal is submitted for approval and, once a
signature is obtained and deposit made, we begin work on
the project.
Preliminary designs for the project are submitted for approval,
and then, once a basic look and feel has been established,
our designers work with the client to refine and enhance
it.
Upon approval of the artwork, the job is sent to the printer.
After another, final approval of a sample piece of finished
artwork is obtained, the full run is printed.
When complete, the project can be shipped to our clients
or picked up. JDC Design is committed to providing maximum
convenience for the delivery of our work.
